Hi. Saw that there was no discussion on this. Anybody applied to the program and received any decision? Does anyone know what their timelines are like? They usually respond in 8 weeks but I haven't heard back and its been over 10 weeks already. Should I assume that's a rejection?

Has anyone who got rejected for PhD been recommended for their master's program? Personal email by the assistant director for admissions.

IR Subfield

CP subfield. 1a/3r/12p. Extremely surprised and humbled, after multiple previous rejections this year. Accepted with funding.

Looks like a lot of people received acceptance/ rejection letter already. So far, I didn't receive any decision, and the portal shows still pending. I have reached out to the Department and they noted, "Our department admissions decisions are not yet finalized." Anyone knows whether still possible to get an acceptance or only rejection left? What is more likely to happen based on previous experiences?

This one hurts. Thought I was a good fit. Who knows what's going on in this cycle... Sigh

i haven't received an offer yet. I think I have to kiss goodbye to academia.

TTPB: Sorry for leaving that out! I was admitted to the Methods subfield. (My original post: (GPA is for Masters) Incredibly unexpected. Undergrad GPA is not impressive, but GRE is strong, and letters, SOP, and writing sample were strong, too. Still in shock. 1a/1r/7p)
