Two single-authored papers (under-review), 3 RLs (one from a well-known faculty member at MIT), 5 poster presentations in top conferences, 1 prestigious fellowship, and 3.79/4.00 M.Sc. cgpa from a small university outside the US. Sad, as this was my dream school.

No interview, previous contact with POI in fall.

4.0 GPA, 3 ML research internships, 1st author NeurIPS pub, 2 SWE internships. Really thought I had a chance :/

So excited and very thankful! This is my first acceptance of the season, and I was absolutely terrified I would not get in anywhere, especially because I started receiving lots of rejections. In case anyone wants to know more details as I know NCSU tends to release decisions rolling according to past years: I applied for the funded MA here for the Rhetoric/Composition track, and I was not alerted my decision came out on my applicant portal. I just happened to realize by logging in and checking today. I was very surprised to see that a decision had been made. There is no details on funding or if I got the assistantship yet, not sure if they are deciding that later or if they already decided the recipients. 3.9 undergraduate GPA in CS, 4.0 masters GPA in AI top 80 university. 2 research experiences, 3 internships and 2 years of professional experience.

Accepted into msml at cmu but rejected at harvard sm in computational sciences! No comment.
