I guess the final round is approaching.

Got my notification today that I was accepted into the Mental Health and Addictions Program (MScCH) at U of T!

After emailing admissions for the 3rd time I was told that I've been waitlisted. I guess it doesn't matter how early you submitted your application...

No Interview. Generic reason in the email: We received an extraordinarily high volume of applications this year and competition was very tough. We regret to advise you that we are unable to offer you admission.

It's time

Poster below, you have a point. I'm Canadian but an international student and I agree that they probably want to maximize profits... I don't understand why they prioritize GPA over work experience. Undergrads with no relevant work experience or degree have been accepted while others have not. Oh well, congrats to everyone accepted and good luck to you!

To the master of information poster below, I'm sorry to hear about the rejection. You have a great GPA and work experience , I agree that is a ridiculous decision made by them. I'm still waiting to hear back and have a sick feeling a rejection is coming my way as well. This school is ridiculous, they seem prioritize international students over domestic who have no experience at all. They just want to make maximum profits off students (ie international fees being higher than domestic). So ridiculous. And waiting this long just for a rejection is absolute garbage.

Emailed Andrea for an update. GPA: 3.5 - 2 years relevant ICT consulting experience. All this wait for a rejection, quite disappointed and frankly think the decision is BS. Good luck everyone!

To the recent post about transcripts. You are most likely admitted. Were you in touch with a professor?

I was sent an email asking for my official transcripts to be sent to the department of Mechanical and Industrial engineering. Any idea if my chances of admission are high? I have an undergrad from UK in Aerospace Engineering with GPA 4.0.

Accepted off waitlist

I sent in my completed application before the January deadline and still have not heard anything! Have emailed both Andrea and the iSchool admissions 3 times and they cannot give me a direct answer. I'm a domestic student with a Major in English Literature. High GPA in the last two years of my undergrad. I have archive and research experience, plus I have worked in a bookstore for the past 4 years and will be working in a library this summer. Getting pretty anxious that this is taking so long!

The supervisor told me. Status of the application is under review yet.

I still haven't heard anything from UofT, my online status still says Under Review.. anyone else in the same boat? this is ridiculous, all other schools have mailed their decision by now!!

To the poster below. I am also still waiting for a result. Andrea told me that there is no update and wasn't able to give me idea when they are notifying all candidates. Sigh.

Anyone iSchool applicants still waiting forma response? I think I'm going to lose my mind if I don't hear back today at least or Monday. Seriously. It's almost god damn May and my application STILL says "under review". @#&!#*3 I already have anxiety in general, this is just making it worse. Andrea is not helpful at ALL. I think she just tells us that she will let the admissions people know we have followed up and whatnot, but really, I doubt she tells them anything. JEEBUS

Hi, Has anyone applying to the department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering gotten any response to their application? I can see applicants from other departments getting accepted/rejected. Has anyone contacted them?
