TTPB : I also heard some ppl finished interviews and got an unofficial mail from UMich. Just wait until they will decline or make a decision for other grad school.

Declined the offer.

I mentioned two PIs in my PS but nobody contacted me at this moment. I send e-message to the dept and was told I was on wait list, and would hear back of the result soon. Not sure how big my chance is.

TTPB: Totally agree, Not only is it frustrating, some people get jammed in the last two weeks waiting to accept other offers while hoping to receive an offer from UMich. This is not a nice way to deal with students. More respect if rejection is sent out in timely manner, at least to not make the experience of the student hard. it is hard enough already, this season is literally crazzzzy!!!
