I sent everything in by late November/early December

Got a letter today! Financial aid isn't due until March 1st, so nothing about financial aid until then, but I am accepted!

To those who applied to WashU did you apply early? I just submitted mine a few weeks ago. Just want to get an idea of what to expect.

To the posters below - thank you for the info! I was totally bummed to not receive a phone call on the 17th. Looking at the trend from last year on grad cafe it seems that Wash U does not reject applicants, rather they put them on the wait list.

I know that at least two people have already been admitted via phone calls through Grad Cafe and invitations to interviews have already been sent out too. Beth said wait list letters will be sent out within the next week. I don't know about rejections. Good question. 8/

Thanks for the post. Did Beth say if they are releasing rejections or the status of applicant's applications... or just the one's that have been accepted have been notified?

Emailed Beth to get admission status; was told that I was wait listed; was told that waitlist-ers are not ranked in any way. Admission Comm. will reconvene if seats open up later on. Booooo. Not too surprised, but I think they put everyone on the wait list until the very end.

Has anyone heard of someone being denied from Ohio Statr University, University of Cincinnati and or Ohio University?
