Area: CS/ML Had an interview from non-POI. Was scared I wouldn't get a chance to talk with POI but the actual POI emailed me with unofficial acceptance email few hours before official acceptance email just now. Good luck everyone...

Email from professor around 11pm PST on 10 Feb - much later than some other posts. No interview either, although I have worked with the professor before. Had almost written off my chances!

compbio; direct email from POI who I also interviewed with (very positive); email seems like it was tailored for compbio area admits so acceptance emails probably are coming out at diff times from diff faculty (got mine ~12pm US central)
