I was waitlisted earlier, I learned that I was rejected today via website.

I had been waitlisted, according what they told me when I called before. Today I checked the website and saw I was rejected.

Had received a prior email saying my application was on hold in case someone else declined. Good luck to everyone going to Rutgers.

Only admission, funding has not been decided yet.

Got an email stating that they're in final stages of reviewing my application and will let me know by the end of the week. Might be the same for all who applied to this program.

They could have taken a little longer! Not my field, but tangentally related, as their program in my field is in complete collapse.

I posted on here that I called and they said I was rejected, but yesterday I received an email that said I was waitlisted. I feel better about not being the lone reject but apart of the waitlisted masses

Finally e-mailed the grad-director and found out that I am on a wait-list. Can't wait to get a straight result!

Sent and email 2 weeks ago, recieved this reply today: Unfortunately you were not admitted into our Program. The official letter was sent out last week, you should receive it shortly.

To the Rutgers poster -- the dept only gives 4 fellowships a year, so my guess is that they are waiting to hear from the 4 people they initially offered funding to before they say anything else.

How come this is taking so long? Are there others who have yet to decline or accept their offers?

Call the grad office. They said there is nothing they can say.Won\'t tell me my status.Very Rude. Not helpful at all.

Called to determine status and received my rejection

re: waitlisted for Rutgers. I was the person who got an acceptance and funding. I am not going and I have already let them know quite a while ago...

I had to email them

Logged into the website. Good luck to all!
