AMO. Not really strong enough as a Chinese international student, and research of UChicago is also not really well-aligned with me.

I was accepted by a school I generally preferred slightly to UChicago's research direction, but now I have anxiety problems.

Three for three so far. Well. 13 more to go. One of those has to come through right?........

Applied to PhD, admitted to Masters. Letter indicates “this referral from your original doctoral application is made following intense faculty review and discussion, and reflects the place you have earned in a very select cohort of entering students”. I’ll most probably decline the offer.

To the person below. I have not heard from Booth nor from anyone else any news about program. So I emailed them and they only told me the results will be made till March. Please share any news you got.
