Hey, has anyone heard anything from GA Tech School of Biological Sciences after visiting for the recruitment weekend? I applied for just the regular Biology PhD, not Applied Phys, Quant Bio, etc.

Finally got position with my dream school,Best of luck those still waiting for the offers.

I received an email saying I was accepted but needed to apply for funding. Have not heard back since.

Replying to the prior post: Was that specifically to Chemical and Systems Biology (CSB)? There are 14 home programs under Biosciences, and CSB is just one! Thank you very much

accepted post interview weekend

My friend got his acceptance e-mail a couple of weeks ago. He hasn't been submitting his results. He also got accepted to Penn State though, so he's going there instead.

I did mean that I received the letter from Dr. Bafna. My letter does say that I would likely receive the official letter within 10 business days. Since I got the e-mail on 3/5, they should probably send the official one by 3/16 or 3/19 maybe?

I was the one posted the official notifications question, to the post below, you mean the acceptance letter from Dr.Bafna right? I got that too, and they said official letter will come in 10 days, just wondering because it is getting close and UCSD grad division says: Only the official Certificate of Admission from the dean of the Graduate Division constitutes formal approval of admission to a graduate program at UC San Diego.

I did get my acceptance e-mail, but I have not heard from the graduate division.

To the above "other notification" poster about the cancer biology program- I saw the post from the person who got accepted on Friday. I am assuming they have already given their 10 spots out that day and are waiting for those people to accept. That being said I haven't received a response about a waitlist/rejection yet either.
