To the poster below: I am in the same boat. I've seen few rejections on the board who got the news by emailing to DGS Prof. Domiano. I did the same but no response yet. I wonder why they still wait to inform us (implicit waitlist?)

Has anybody had any news from them? I have emailed twice prof Damiano and Graduate unit without an answer. My profile still says "under review". I hardly believe they are still deciding...

40 spots in the entire civil department, 250 applicants

To iSchool poster before, I feel your frustration. I have been following up for almost 2 months and have missed out on many other opportunities due to this wait. Each time, they just say my file is still being reviewed and I should be hearing 'within the next few weeks'. This is the most unprofessional, unfair and frustrating application process I've experienced in my life. Very unprofessional of them. Their head of admissions is not fit to lead this department. He/she has very poor organization/leading/management skills. If there were a large number of applicants this year, that doesn't mean they can just prolong the process for students beyond what they 'advertise' on their website, information sessions and pamphlets. 'decisions are made on a rolling basis, "decisions are usually made within 4 weeks after you shunting your application"...my ASS. I'm sure schools like Queens, Harvard and many others receive way more applications than Uoft yet, they had a well structured application process. uoft needs to learn a thing or 2 from others. What a nice Easter long weekend this was, waiting for yet another empty portal with no signs of progress.

I was emailed on 3/9 requesting an additional reference, which because of the American spring break, I was not able to have submitted until 3/23. Need an answer because of a summer internship I have and emailed on 4/13 to ask for an answer. Got an email on 4/17 saying "my file is in progress and I should be receiving an answer soon" and "if I don't hear by the end of the week, to email again". Not helpful at all especially because I need an answer by Friday.

I did not get a reject nor an admit from UoT at this point. Any idea what this means?

To the poster below inquiring about my difficulty in choosing between Ryerson and UofT. UofT is a 2 year program, costing $36K with only $3K in funding. Ryerson is1 year (with research opportunities AND internship), costing less than $10K, with a potential of $16K in funding. After spending weeks in turmoil, I've finally decided to accept the financial burden of UofT due to the program's prestige. Are you attending UofT in the fall as well?

Had one reference letter un-submitted by the time of notification. As is the case with my UBC's application.

Said I had an excellent application, but there were so few spots for international students this year.. Really disappointing :( did not expect this rejection.

To the poster below, I think all the decisions convey by postal service. Hope you get an offer of admission. I got the rejection letter on April 10 and the letter dated 24 March. So disappointed but kinda guess it's because of my TOEFL score (90). Admitted to University of Manitoba. Good luck to everyone.

I was told all results are sent via mail and I should see mine soon. but I am panicked now since its 15th April and havent received any letter. Are only rejections posted and acceptance is conveyed via e-mail? Am I waiting for a rejection or is there a chance of acceptance ? I am from India

Has anyone heard from them yet?? When are they going to give us an update? Its mid April now.

To the poster below who was recently admitted to MPP at Utoronto, I also applied to Ryerson's MPPA program. What did you find appealing at Ryerson compared to U of T?
