Could not log into my portal. Did anyone else have the same issue? I would assume they are entering the rejections into the system as I heard the acceptances have been released. Applications doubled but fewer positions this year. Things are only going to get worse in the coming years.

For those who were accepted to UIUC but got better options, could you please decline? I can well understand that you are not obliged to do so, but this brutal cycle may crush many applicants' dreams. For me, I don't have a second chance to reapply and UIUC is my last chance to become an academic. Please, spare poor old me!

TTPB: yeah, I have the same thing but I contacted a faculty member yesterday to find out about rejection. So... I guess no good news for us.

email notifying portal status change. theory subfield

Just checked the portal and found decision released, but it says 'There is no update to your application status to report' when I clicked in. Anyone in same situation?

Really thrilled, this was certainly my top choice, and could not have been more happy. subfield: IR

CP Focus, Expected, Congratulations Everyone Accepted! Email to Check Application Status Portal - Standard Rejection Letter

PT, no surprise. Congrats to all who got in!

Received an email to check the application portal. I'm definitely bummed, but now I don't have to stress about affording to live in Cali. Congrats to all those who got in!

e-mailed to check portal. Political theory. I was sure I wasn't going to get in as it was a 1% acceptance rate. I'm beyond elated
