The Anthropology department is very warm and helpful and my dissertation supervisor is great. I am very excited and thankful.

Contacted Dr. Warren and he informed me that he is not accepting students for the Forensic Anthropology program for Fall 2017 due to his upcoming retirement.

Was given the typical generic rejection letter. Dr. Schnell was very unprofessional and would not provide any insight into how a decision was made.

Awarded a full tuition waiver. Still not sure whether to attend or not, since I still need to figure out how to cover other expenses

Heard within a week. American student did not take GRE

admitted from waitlist. already accepted another offer though, so the spot will be going to someone else

I had received a couple interviews from Penn in March in which I tried to convince them if they offered, they could count on me to accept it. They told me they weren't going to offer, but when they got turned down by a couple folks during decision week, they circled back around to me on the basis that I'd be the most likely of those they interviewed to accept on decision day. Make sure these schools know you want to go there!!

Originally placed on the wait list and contacted them back in March, only to have Dr. Joyce say that he didn't think they'd take anyone from it. Surprise- I got in! But I've already accepted elsewhere and the funding Boulder offered isn't good enough, so I declined.

Since I didn't get into any PhDs this year, might consider this.
