Summer 2018 - Randomly checked my e-mail thinking it was something work related but it was an acceptance from UCF. I went there for undergrad and was hoping to go back for grad. High GPA, not very competitive GRE scores, decent amount of experience and volunteer work and I believe my letters were probably really good considering who I asked to write them.

Accepted into the program and offered a GA position! Very excited.

I am in complete shock right now! This is my dream school, and I thought it would be a long shot to apply. Good luck everyone with your decisions!!

GPA in Com Sci major: 3.90

This one hurts a little bit, but I’m okay with it.

A little bummed, but it is okay since I got into other programs I really like. I will probably remove myself from the wait list within the next few days. In addition to my GPA and GRE I was did research in the field, involved in diverse clubs, and had clinical and clinical-like experience.

I AM SO PUMPED. I had super low expectations with how competitive SLP is but glad to have gotten into one of my top choices in one of my favorite cities! :)

email reads: bc we have approximately 500 applications...waiting list is not ranked numerically. a determination of exactly how many more admission offers will be sent cannot be made ATM.

Declined invitation for interview, as I was accepted by my first-choice school. Hope this helps someone else!

To the recent poster asking about UNC G, my application also still says “submitted.” I’m remaining hopeful that they are waiting to receive commitments from the people they’ve already accepted, then maybe sending out another wave of them.

Does anyone know when we'll be hearing back from UF? Last year it was this coming week when they found out, and the year before it was the week of March 15/16th. I'm dying to know! Thank you!
