Was invited for an interview at the end of January, but haven't heard anything ever since then. Followed up with the department several days ago regarding the application status, and was told most of the admissions had been sent out and although ppl who haven't heard anything from the department remain in the waitlist, it is unlikely that we will receive an admission offer from the department. They expect to release all the final decisions by the end of April. | ||||

I never asked for my position in the waitlist, but was told I have a "reasonable probability" for acceptance. It sounds like everyone was told that when the waitlist emails were sent out. I emailed him later this week and it sounds like the waitlist hasn't moved in the last 10+ days, but will pick up next week. Wishing the best! I am eager to hear back as well. | ||||

Emailed prof. Elder back in March. In his response he said “you are MUCH closer to the first-round offer group than the latter group[rejections]. Frankly, I think there's a reasonably high probability that we'll be able to make you an offerâ€. Did everyone on WL gets similar words? | ||||
