TTPB: My track is biomedical devices/nanotechnology and I have 1 interview in late Jan. My POI (not the one I interviewed) emailed the acceptance to me and it looks like they're sending it one by one instead of simultaneously. Hope that helps and good luck!

Invited to interview for potential advisor/research group. One hour later receieved invitation to rsvp invite only event to meet ece faculty. Status has not been confirmed but looks like good news to me. No GRE submitted.

Informed of acceptance by POI, stating that I'll received the official offer in 1 to 2 days. Was awarded the Ernst Weber Fellowship with a $6000 bonus for first year. Research area is cybersecurity of power systems. MS GPA: 3.88/4.00. 4 IEEE Transactions and 2 IEEE Conference publications, with 2 addition IEEE Transactions under review at the time of application. Rejected last year, accepted this year!

Is it possible that we get rejected after the interview? I had an interview in mid Jan which went great. But haven't yet received anything. I'm international.

TTPB: When did you have your interview + what track?

I was recommended for admission into the Electrical and Computer Engineering Masters of Engineering. I applied for the Autonomous Systems concentration. I have not gotten an message from the College of Engineering.

Has anyone created a group for JHU ECE/EE PhD?

TTPB, regarding email from POI saying you are selected( Field: Computer Architecture). Do you mind sharing your POI or profile.

Interviewed by POI a week ago, received mail from him yesterday stating I'm accepted. Said I'll receive official offer in a week. Field: Computer Architecture.

TTPB: It is not surprising that it was a strategy to make 2x international applicants apply in the bait of GRE waiver. Each paying full application fee. Then choose the native students to secure places for natives. Same is happening at all places. From top universities to lower ones. I was promised an admission by the professors in two top 15 universities, one being an Ivy League. I was interviewed in one of them. It went great. And professor said I will be accepted. But I received a rejection. Under normal circumstances it wouldn't happen. But international admissions this year are close to being called a scam. You can compare the number of international acceptances posts from last years for any university and department, to this year. Have fun.

Are the admits on rolling basis or batch wise? Also, I don't see any international applicants getting admit offers below.
