Just wondering for people who got admitted, how long did it take for them to email you the url to indicate the intent of enroll? I got the recommendation email on April 12th but haven't received the url. I am a little worried since my second choice offer will expire tomorrow. Thank you.

Most probably will decline

For a PhD program with an acceptance as low as MIT's AeroAstro program, this wasn't really a surprise. The rejection letter was so nice though; it even made me smile a little. If only they notified me of my denial earlier.

Standard rejection letter after being waitlisted.

No sorry! I got in March, just made the Facebook a few days ago!

To the poster below, did you get off the waitlist?

Accepted with funding but have declined offer.

Did anyone who applied receive the thesis scholarship?

I have declined my funded offer just now. I hope someone from the waitlist receives it.

Pretty sure they told all their waitlist candidates they are near the top of the waitlist or have a "high chance" of an offer.

I think that they sent out a bunch of messages saying 'you're very near the top of the waitlist'.

Hi! I never thought I would be this person, but if you have an offer from MSU and don't plan on attending, please reject it! You'd be helping a friend out :) Thanks!

Accepted off the waitlist and fully gobsmacked.
