Interviewed today, expected to hear about decision "soon". Don't know what that means.

To the poster below: I am a U of T physics student. Most of the acceptances last year came out around the beginning of February, so don't sweat it.

Has anyone heard anything from them? interviews or something? should I just give up? Am I ranting?....sry. dream school.

Expect more UofT interviews in coming weeks

Faculty that I Skyped with reached out and said that, because of the cost of funding an international student, they will be unable to give me an offer. Apparently each faculty member is allowed 1 non-Canadian student besides very rare exceptions, and the people I applied to each have an American student. Really disappointed - it's a great program! Faculty member was VERY nice, and expressed a willingness to keep in touch and collaborate.
