Ignore wait listed; Does anyone applied to hep-th and cosmology under Prof. Mark Trodden got any acceptance or interview call. An answer would really help to make a decision. I haven't got any response so far.

ignore WL. I have not received any notification from UIUC, does it mean I'm on WL or simply rejection letter has not reached me yet?

email (03/04) to interview (03/08 or 03/09), got it on 03/10. I am so excited! After 9 rej, finally this came! ( And only 2 univ remain silent, so close to gap..........) Just want to say hold on, and don't lose confidence in yourself!

I wrote to ask what was going on with admissions. I heard that we were likely to know in the next two weeks and that "While we have not yet finished our admissions process, if you have not yet heard from us, it is unlikely that you will be offerred [sic] admission."

Ignore waitlisted: I got rejected by Virginia Tech, Northeastern, Yale, Stony Brook, UT Austin, Lehigh and UIUC. But got accepted to UC Irvine for hep-th. Is there any chance I will get accepted to UPenn?

Ignore waitlist. Has anyone heard from the Canadian universities. I emailed them, but no reply. It's been over 11 weeks still no update. Do they accept students or just a way to make money.

(Tuscaloosa) Ignore waitlist. Anyone who are accepted to PhD Physics this year? and please share whether you will accept or reject? this is the last chance I have this year and I have not heard back from them so far. Any comments will be highly appreciated

Unexpected :(

Ignore waitlisted. There will be ADDITIONAL offer coming at the end of March. Graduate Program has been sending email regarding encouraging "nonbinding status report" (not official declaration, but letting the school know applicant's interest) between March 7-March 21, so that they can "make additional offers to talented students toward the end of the admissions cycle". If you haven't heard from them, don't lose your hope! And for those accepted, we should notify the school of our plans between those days!
