TTPB: Are you the same one who got interviewed with 2 POI?

Accepted to GT ECE with a focus in nanotechnology, no interview, low GRE ~50%, self-funded fellowship, 4 years of undergrad research, no word on funding from GT though - RL

I had my interview around December 25th. My research focus is machine learning related computer architecture. I think they are granting Distinguished Computer Engineering Fellowship to all those who are admitted for the ECE dept.

To the poster below with the early admit. Which track? Also could you please share your background, would be helpful.

Shocked by the early admit!!

I got unofficial confirmation from the POI 3 days before and got the official confirmation from the school today. I have two published journal papers (Impact factor > 3.5) published and 4 conference papers (one in the USA).

Informal acceptance from the specific PI I am hoping to work with. Coming from physics.

Interviewed with a prof. not listed in my sop. Don’t think our interests are matched.

TTPB: 1 top conference paper in electronic design automation (EDA). 1 top journal paper in ML optimization. 1 top conference paper under review (EDA). participated in 2 international contests and ranked high.
