We regret to inform you that your application for this graduate program was not successful. Each year, many good applicants are declined admission to the University of British Columbia. Common reasons for declining applicants include unavailability of appropriate faculty advisors and/or funding for the applicant, an applicant's less competitive academic record, and simply the limited number of spots available in graduate programs. Due to the significant number of applications we receive, we are unable to provide applicants with specific explanations for being declined. We wish you well in your future endeavors. Thank you for your interest in pursuing graduate studies at the University of British Columbia. Yours truly,
