"We are arranging informal phone "interviews" -- just a conversation really."

I've been working at Yale for almost one year now, have worked there on a different over the summer of 2017 where parts of my work got published to Cell (second-author) and we submitted a provisional US patent. Two of my rec letters come from PIs at Yale so that rejection was very surprising. I got accepted to one of my top choices so that's not too bad anyway. Call it sour grapes but I'm ready to say goodbye to New Haven.

Email to check website

No e-mail, at least yet. Just an application portal status update.

Didn't receive an email to check the portal. Just happened to refresh the portal page and saw a Status Update notification.

To the post below about robotics interview: no, I did not receive notification.

E-mail from DGS on Jan. 16 to arrange interview. Interview on Jan. 23 with two professors. E-mail on Feb. 7 to check status portal.

To the person asking about the interview at Yale for Robotics, I had an interview with him and have not heard back. Have you received a notification?

To the post asking about when I heard back from Yale: I had an interview mid-January with the PI I want to work with and I heard back from the chair of admission committee with my PI cced through email Feb 6th as I mentioned in my post. The official decisions will come out in the next few days but I don't know exactly when. I hope this helps.
