Lunch with the PI - was in town for a conference. Went quite well, I like their work a lot + it aligns with my experience(s). Visited campus to see the department later that week. Phenomenal facilities! For those who applied: Acceptance notifications should come early to mid February.

Has anyone heard from development psychology PIs?

Just received word from KM that there was a drastic cut in grad student lines this year for the psych department, and that she is not taking a graduate student after all. :(

has anyone heard from the Biophysics admission?

Emailed GSAS and was informed applications are still under review and individuals will be notified via email with a decision. Also that decisions would be available by logging into your application. Was additionally told all decisions were made by March 15th and not all programs offer interviews. Very standard response to inquiry so not getting my hopes up for an acceptance.

Contacted by 2 POI for two separate interviews. One of them was named in my SOP. Theory.

I just emailed the coordinator and got his/her response: We do not have a formal interview invitation process, but you may hear directly from a faculty member to schedule an in-person or Skype interview. These interviews would most likely be before Feb 6. Decisions will be sent out in early March

several years of research, 5 pubs, 1 first author. Still in shock!

got a call from pi i interviewed with. getting a letter soon. super excited !

6 publications, 5 years of research experience, good SoP and LoRs. Very bad verbal GRE, but Chem and Q >82 percentile. TOEFL 92. The department said that all candidates are already notified.
