To the poster(s) below. I believe the UMich stipend is usually somehting like $26K-$27K.... To the poster that received it, congrats. I'm surprised you received funding notice so soon, all other posts seem to indicate funding wouldn't be decided on until March.

Applied for PhD, admitted for fast track Masters. This is usually how they accept PhD applicants without a relevant masters degree. Offer with enormous stipend! Thrilled!!!

Applied PhD, admitted fast-track MS/PhD since I'm an undergrad. Funding decided in early March.

Email letting me know they started reviewing applications, and asking if I would like to be considered for the Theory/Methods track if I'm not chosen for the Accelerated track. Asked them to withdraw my application.

No word on funding... I'll email the department next week with questions.

Applied for PhD. Admitted as master as an undergraduate student.

I wanna cry.

No mention of TA/RA position .. did anyone else experience this? Still very excited!!

Accepted to masters after applying to PhD few days ago. Prof called to tell me they are actually recommending me for the fast-track, good chance of funding but won't know til March. Most likely will decline offer before then.
