I was wait listed in February and then offered acceptance with a GTA in April, presumably after students who had been accepted earlier declined the offer of admission (they have an April 15 deadline to do so).

It's honestly laughable that UCLA sends out rejections AFTER the deadline to accept program offers (4/15). I've already committed to a higher ranked program. Get your shit together, UCLA.
