:-) oh well

finally got my rejection; waited all day

Expected and welcome.

Checked on a wimp, said status was available. Clicked---rejected. Totally okay, I've already accepted a spot. Good luck!

Phone call and email confirmation.

To be interviewed for TA-ship with a very good stipend.

Voicemail asking for a callback yesterday; played phone tag; chatted this morning and received official news of acceptance.

Response to a personal email I sent: "Unfortunately, you were not accepted to the program this year. The graduate college has not sent out its denial letters yet." The website still lists my application as "referred to college for review." Another contact informed me that all decisions should be finalized this week, so I'm sure everyone else will be notified soon.

Nice form email, glad for its promptness.

The last two from ASU and Arkansas are both rejections in fiction btw.

I inquired as to whether all acceptances have been sent and just received an email from Kate Daniels saying: "Not yet. Probably next week." Chins up!
