Received a letter in the mail on 3/8/24 with notice that I'm on the list of alternates

I received an email that I've been placed on the waiting list. Congratulations to those who were accepted. If you've got better offers from other schools, please decline this. I've been rejected from all the schools I applied to, and this is my last hope. Please, give me the chance. I honestly don't know what to do again. This is my fourth cycle of applying to graduate school. I'm just on the brink of giving up. Please, decline if you've no intention of going to UofT. Thank you very much.

GPA is for MS in I-O Psychology

masters of arts in education (thesis option). I submitted my app about 1 month before the deadline.

Not surprised. No GRE scores and most of my research experience is clinical. Congrats to those accepted!

Got invited to interview on the 8th!

January interview/virtual visit for doctoral program. Via email, faculty provided clear guidance and encouragement to pursue master's admission instead.

Got a personal email from one of the professors. Had my interview on the 6th of March! Really happy :)

Got email notification that I was rejected from the PsyD program - was offered a spot on the interview waitlist and they asked for my application to be reviewed for the PhD program. Did anyone else get these offers? It feels a little random but I'm just curious!

The website status is not updated but received an email instead. They offer feedback on application.

I am super bummed about this result... this is my dream university. If you were accepted and do not decide to go here, please decide quickly so that I can have the opportunity to attend this program!
