Referred to CIR

Indicated that my application was passed on to the CIR masters admissions committee. Does anyone know what the chances are for acceptance to this masters for rejected PhD applicants who are referred?

Application was sent to MAPSS program

Official rejection from PhD program but there was a note about waiting to hear about Master's admissions in mid-March. no ty though 1a/4r/2p

To the person below who just got accepted at UIUC, were you on the waitlist?

Indicated they passed my application along to CIR.

AP, no exact number of funding yet. But the mentioning of guaranteed funding. 3a/0w/2p.

For those who haven't yet gained access to the "application tracker", check your spam from Dec/early Jan. Their website mentions that many people had issue with this email going straight to spam. This email contains instructions on how to set it up.

TPB: I also hadn't received my Applicant ID, and the application portal still only shows submitted. However I had also applied to a masters at the LSE several years ago and I had a previous account with which I could access the graduate tracker (it is a different portal to the application). That page was updated and says my application is currently under review. Hope this helps!

Apologies, rejection below was for Political Science not IR - IR and World Politics field
