International applicant. UK masters. %50 scholarship.

They're only covering 50% tuition and offer no stipend. I'm devastated as this was my dream option. I have fully funded offer elsewhere that is higher ranked, but I can't help but be upset.

Hoping for positive funding results (SPS, CRA)

GAO on 06/02, Conditional offer on 19/02. No words on funding yet. Turkish applicant, 3 published papers, one of them is in the Citation Index. IPSA conference paper and presentation. Several volunteer works and professional cellist.

Applied Jan. 4th, application portal changed to "unsuccessful" on Feb. 18th. Never invited to formal interview, but had informal interview with the potential supervisor, who agreed to supervise me within a different program at same university. Good luck to everyone else who applied!

What a slap in the face. I felt like I was a great fit for the program. I have an amazing offer at a better program, but this still stings.

Received kind, personal email today after an interview last month. Strong topic fit but no rhetoric background.

2nd department to send out results out of the ones I have applied to; my sub-field is CP/Political Economy. 0a/2r/0w/9p Any clue whether UCSD and UCLA results will be out this week?

grad GPA 4.0, theory subfield, 0a/1r/0w/9p

Gave it my best shot, and felt I stood a decent chance with strong credentials. Cambridge clearly thought otherwise. Wishing good luck to all waiting applicants.
