2 years research experience, no publications

Kind quasi-stock email from POI.

As I know, we will pay the tuition (approximately 21000$ each year) by ourselves, right? I will decline or defer the offer to see other possibilities. Cannot survive in Montreal by the funding, unless you are a local and have your own apartment / funded by your family.

I had assumed this would have been a rejection given how bad my LOI was.

Well, it's over. Now on to funding applications. 1a/1w/6r/0p

For the comment below: would you mind share the contact information from the Admissions? (I only know the program coordinator). I know they have admitted some local students , however, I am not very sure whether they have already sent out the international PhD offer(s). It's pretty stressful to wait.

International student with background in journalism and women's studies. Previous internship in MNC as content writer. Working as a business analyst in tech. IELTS 8.0. NGO exp of 5 years. Strong SOP and LORs.

Any international applicants heard from the PhD program (Educational Studies, DISE) from McGill, 2023 Fall?
