-Got an email acceptence to Columbia (MS, F18). No funding. -Rejected without interview at UC Berkeley. -Unofficial email from CUNY prof saying will get official letter by 19th. Funding unkown.

To the poster below: congrats on getting into USC and Medill. I have a feeling that they're all more or less the same in terms of prestige - - I'm debating between Columbia (with Stabile) with 15k scholarship or CUNY with 10k scholarship. I'm leaning towards Columbia because I feel like internationally it'd be more recognized (I'm Italian). - - my other conondrum is that my employer is applying for my H1B, so if I got it I feel like maybe it'd make more sense to come to the US with that and then look for a new job, rather than doing grad school and then having to leave since few media companies I imagine sponsor. Any advice?

Scholarship links are working now! I got $15,000, less than I was hoping with Stabile acceptance, I thought there was a Stabile fellowship fund that would mean more in scholarships. Anyone else in the same boat?rnrnI got a lot better offers from Northwestern and USC, now I'm so torn. Is Columbia worth it??

Anyone who got into Columbia got any news on the scholarship notification? I still don't see any link. Also, anyone who got into CUNY found out about any scholarship that wasn't directly from the school (e.g., Knight-Vice)? I got a scholarship from the school for 10k but I'm wondering if there's still also a chance of being awarded one of those additional ones that required the extra application.

Checked the website around 9 pm. The decision was posted!

Applied for the magazine specialization and received an email notification today! They say the full results will be posted on the application portal in hours but I still cannot access it now.

I woke up 15 minutes after they sent me the email notifying for an update, and now I'm fully awake! Feeling so lucky to be in the general program. And will probably take the double major with SIPA. Besides, I also see no update to my scholarship application. Wondering whether this means I won't have any money.

Got in as well! And into the Stabile program. They said to check the scholarship page for an "update" link as well, but it doesn't pop up. Anybody know if that's coming out later or did somebody already find out and it means I didn't get any money? haha

Expected. Still upset. Got accepted by Berkeley and Ryerson so far.
