Would the poster(s) who got interviews for ISU mind posting who their PI is? Thank you

Iowa State apparently does not fund PhD students through perpetual teaching assistantships. A faculty member must have funding in hand (RA or grant). They do not do interviews, and the decision resides with your potential faculty adviser. I was lucky that the person I contacted already had an RA in hand to fill. This acceptance notice was informal and still needs to be rubber-stamped by the department and graduate school.

Received offer with good stipend but contingent upon completion of MS degree. My MS degree is expected to complete in June, but what if not. Isn't the PhD program just required bachelors...

Declined the offer last year, but the department defer my admission to this year!! Such a nice school!

TTPB: You should be relaxed. There is a lot of uncertainty about enrolling now. That's why the university is procrastinating. My suggestion is that you should contact the department and they will give you their solutions. I have just received an email from the department to ask me to move my application to Fall 2021 for consideration.

Is anyone waiting for the decisions from university? Now is June and I have not heard anything from them. Should I suppose I am rejected? Anyway, they are completely silent that makes me feel unfair since I submitted my application with 100$ not free, and the admission committee cares nothing of my application at all. Although Covid-19 affects their decisions, they should have proper communication at this time no matter rejected or admitted.

TTPB: to the post below for UCI. Don't feel bad. It looks like all CSU campuses will be virtual till the end of the school. The UC system including UCI will surely follow. As of right now, unless you enjoy online teaching and isolation, California is going to sh*t.

I applied to five different programs back in January and my status is "awaiting decision". I graduated from Purdue University and have experience doing field research and working with the fish and wildlife services recently. I just want my decision either way.

TTPB: How you get your results? I check my portal and it still reads "Under review by graduate department". Did you email the professor or coordinator? I emailed to coordinator many times, but she did not reply @@!

Hello, please don't go crazy. you'll get your result soon. There are many universities which have not yet sent out results..I am still waiting for my result. *fingers crossed* p.s. i am not an applicant in ISU.
