No formal research experience. Two internships during undergrad (9 months and 6 months) + 1 year working full time as software engineer.

Contact from a professor. No conversation before.

To the UCLA data mining interview post below - if you are comfortable with that, could you please disclose your interview's content and length?

For the admission info, the professor said the results might be out in the early Feb. They just began the review process. Btw, there are some discrepancy issues related in their application database, which were just resolved manually.

To the UCLA poster below - any idea as to when admission results should be out?

BITS Pilani undergrad, 3 years of work experience, GRE:331/340

To the poster below, they haven't replied to my mail either. I guess we should wait for them to ask for the financials. That takes around 3-4 days to come.

To the poster below: I'm in the same boat as you. Did you get any correspondence from the CS department? They haven't been responding to my emails

Found the decision letter because I happened to check the portal. It had said no decision has been made until quite recently. Haven't received any mail from the department/Graduate Admissions Office notifying about the decision though. Could successfully accept the offer.

Still haven't received any update with regards to the decision on my application. Wasn't April end supposed to be the deadline? Anybody still waiting for results?

Anyone else still waiting for UCLA? They aren\\\'t replying to my mails and there is no decision on the portal: 'appstatus dot grad dot ucla dot edu'

Anyone else still waiting to hear from UCLA? Not sure what it means :/

Three Internships, Undergraduate Research Assistant, one Research Paper Publication in International Conf, Strong LORs

UCLA administration is bullshit! It was the first college for which I have submitted the application and the last college to announce the decision. Got "better" admits anyways - GaTech, CMU! Fuck you UCLA!
