I can say with great degree of confidence that the poster below from iitb is a spam as I am from the same batch and anyone with that high grade is either already working outside India, or already pursuing a graduate level program. So don't panic and stay safe ! I can see similar multiple posts for Michigan MSCS and believe they are spam too.

Definitely spam. A person working at google Bangalore for four years could easily get transferred via the company to the US. There would be absolutely no point to put their career on hold for two years while studying a degree. I am expecting the results to be out on April 1st like last year.

TTPB: Yes, no change in status means rejection. Don't have any hopes, you will receive a rejection.

TTPB: Those results were spam mostly. They were all submitted around the same time when there was no email notification. Stay positive and don't spread panic.

TTPB: I have applied to Ph.D. in Machine Learning program. I also haven't heard anything back. I dropped them a mail and they said they were reviewing the applications. Not sure what to expect or when.

Did anyone hear anything new from gatech's admissions office? I saw the statistics is lower compared to previous years but I don't know if they are still accepting people. I hope if they reject me they don't drag it out..

MSCSE admit. First admit, really happy! 7.5/10 GPA from Tier I Indian university. GRE 331 (161+170). TOEFL 114. 2 yrs work ex. No research publications.
