rejected to my dream program. Waiting on Austin but it looks unlikely now, so expecting a shutout. Really not surprised but so so disappointed— I know they checked out my academia.edu a few weeks back and got my hopes up a bit. 0a/0w/7r/1p

Not waitlist, just waiting. Working towards Rhetoric specialization, has anyone heard back? :(

got a super kind email from the director! waitlisted for a funded position. this is my top choice, so I'm thrilled!

TTPB: haven't heard anything (X2) Anxiety is off the charts! Would love to get some info/credentials from the poster who was accepted.

Language and Linguistics

Surprised and relieved! Didn't submit GRE. Bad cumulative GPA (much higher major GPA), good letters.

waitlisted for the PhD program, but received an offer for the MA (even though I didn't ask to be considered for it) if I am not accepted. Grateful for this option, but please let the department know as fast as possible if you aren't accepting the PhD offer... it's a dream school for me!

Never heard from this school. When I sent an email the DGS said I'm waitlisted, and there's no possibility of funding. They should have sent an email in the first place. Totally annoyed. P.S. I have two funded offers so far.

emailed that status was updated - accepted. not my *top* pick but it's super convenient so definitely am option I'm grateful to have

I emailed them this week. They asked me if I were interested in the master's program since there is no one to supervise my project!

Disregard waitlist: Is anyone else still waiting to hear back from McMaster's English PhD?
