Generic rejection. To be expected.

Sencond time applying. This year they send my rejection early, and through the online portal. Generic rejection letter, was to be expected since they have very limited options for internationals. No hard feelings.

To the person below: I emailed them last week and they said a letter was in the mail. I haven't gotten that yet but today I did get an email acceptance letter with details. Yes my application status did change to "decision reached"!

To the person who got accepted into the museum studies program, did they only send you a snail mail letter, or did they also email you the details? Did your status change on the SGS application?

I just received an acceptance letter today. However, there was no mention of any funding or scholarships. Did anyone who received funding get sent a separate letter, or do they tell you in your admission one?

CAN citizen @ top 5 CAN CS university. AI/ML focus. 3.68 overall, 3.79 in CS. One journal paper under submission, two directed studies, participated in research discussion group. 4 SoftEng internships at notable US tech companies in US and CAN. Full funding for 17 months @ $28k/yr. Conditional continuance into PhD.

Well, the Toronto professors sure know how to soften the blow of a rejection with nice letters. Very sad, nonetheless. N with this, the rejection season begins (again) for me. Yay.

To the MScAc admit below, do you mind sharing when did you submit your application?

Philosophy GPA is 4.0, despite low overall. Writing sample and letters must have convinced them. Full domestic funding: $17,500 + tuition. Best of luck everyone!

I was invited to the interview and the professor told me that the admission letter will be offered soon. (1 journal paper, 3 conference papers, TOEFL 109) The interesting thing is that It is no more one week after the application deadline that this happens.
