To the post below, I live just outside the city and received the "priority view for Masters in Special Education program" and was also wondering how many others received the same! Congrats to all who were accepted!

I got a rejection letter in the mail today (just fyi I live a half hour away from SF, hence why I got it so soon probably) but the letter stated that they are willing to give me "priority review" for the special ed masters. I'm going to go for it, but would love to get an idea of how many people who were rejected are offered priority review for special ed, so if future posters could mention that, it'd be very appreciated :)

Did not get into the program, but was offered priority review to the Special Education program

Over 5,000+ hours of human services/ social services experience including Peace Corps (terminated services) but Peace Corps accepted me! ... I guess GPA is super important and not experience. ugh so bummed

Very nice phone call from the DGS, admitted with 6K tuition scholarship.

Got accepted on March 4th, only 4 days after the interview. However, they are only giving me 5 days to decide??? They will not let you extend the decision date. I still have an interview I haven't attended yet... even if I didn't, how are you supposed to make a life changing decision in 5 days??

This is my first choice - if you get in and decide not to go, please let the school know ASAP!

Accepted, will find out about funding later on in March
