Phone call from program director. Official letter to follow.

Received the phone call that I was admitted. I really want to consider this school, but I've been admitted to much better, and fully accredited Universities, so this one will be off my list.. :( But congrats to who ever was on the waitlist and gets the spot! :)

To the posters about U of I, I didn't have outstanding scores, but was HIGHLY involved in research and volunteering, and they accepted me. I don't think grades and GRE scores are all that they were looking for.

As the other person said, received a phone call from the program director who said an official letter would be sent later this month!

Ouch. Saw the poster below posting about UI, so why not...heard all this school cares about is research, research, research, funding, funding, research, funding, etc. It is an R1 though...so I can see why...BUT AuD IS NOT EVEN A PhD PROGRAM. WHY YOU SO MEAN? Oh well...still waiting to hear from other schools

AuD, seriously? 4.0 GPA, 165 for both sections of the GRE and still got rejected from this school?! I have been accepted to every school but this one. What else do they want? ..an arm and leg? my body? I am not trying to bitter but this school is ridiculously hard to get into. CONDESCENDING MUCH?

poster below: Last year I was on ISUs' waiting list until week before the school starts and didn't get in. I really want to start by grad school this year. Lexi from ISU told me that she's guessing fairly soon they will send a batch of denial letters to those that don't meet the minimum requirements. But I don't think there aren't many people who doesn't meet the minimum requirements :( i think ISU wait list will have a lot of applicants.

I am also on the wait list for both. I know how you feel. And the not disclosing wait list position?! Ergh. I wonder if they will disclose how many people are on the wait list?

Has anyone heard back from Louisiana Tech or LSU?

POSTER BELOW: yeah.. I hope not too... but Idaho State, they already sent out 1st acceptance mail and told us that everyone else is on the waiting list.... which doesn't make sense to me but I e-mailed and confirm that that is correct :( I don't know what to do because I am wait listed for both schools.....

I sure hope not (about the wait list thing).. Also maybe they had too few applicants and wanted to make sure they had a full class? I dunno?

I am just wondering, i don't see anybody who applied Wichita State got rejection letter, is Wichita state put every applicants on their waiting list like Idaho State?
