So glad to be waitlisted instead of denied. I’m doing my undergrad here and this is my top choice. I got an emailed after 5pm from the program director saying they placed me on the waiting list. We will hear after April 15th if we have been accepted off the waitlist or not.

Congrats to all of those that were accepted! Unfortunately, I have been rejected. I didn't receive an email to check the portal. I only checked due to seeing people getting an answer on here.

To the other UNCG posters, I’m doing my undergrad here and my application also still says “submitted”. I’m assuming that means we are on the waitlist even though we haven’t been notified. I’m really hoping to get in here. Hopefully as people start declining their admissions (which is soon I hope) we should start to hear back. As of now I’ve been rejected from one program and haven’t heard back from anyone else. Best of luck to all of us.

My understanding is that those people who received offers in the first round have until April 15 to accept/decline. Those who have not yet heard anything are not currently on the waitlist, but may still be added to the waitlist as additional offers are made. If you applied after the funding deadline you will not have been considered in the first round of offers, so are less likely to have heard anything. Hope that's helpful!

To the recent poster asking about UNC G, my application also still says “submitted.” I’m remaining hopeful that they are waiting to receive commitments from the people they’ve already accepted, then maybe sending out another wave of them.

Someone asked if the emails were personalized. Answer: not really. Looks like a general form email from L.A. Paul, with an official offer letter to follow in a few days.

This is great news! But I will likely decline in favor of other offers.
