emailed DGS to see when admission decisions will be communicated to applicants, she said they'll "get them out in the next day or two" good luck everyone :)!

2 years reseach, Top 50 undergrad. Born and raised in Austin. Sad.

Was originally waitlisted but received an acceptance.

First admission. Complicated but positive feelings.

I talked to them over the phone. They asked me about what schools I had heard back from and how I ranked UT Austin among my options. I was told I was on the shortlist for admission and that they had 1-2 more spots to fill.

To the Austin shortlist below：Do you have an interview yet？ I mean is that shortlist for interview or admission.

For the UT Poster, I contacted them and they informed me that they will keep sending out decision until May. I have not heard from them too regarding a decision.

I had a phone call on Wednesday with the program. They told me I was on the shortlist and would hear back next week.

Did anyone hear back from Austin?

I emailed to inquire and they said I was in the top quarter of applicants and waitlisted.

Any news from them?

Shocked that I got in!! Got a nice personal email with attached acceptance letter and an $8,000 fellowship! Good luck to everyone else!

Upon status inquiry. Unusually large and competitive applicant pool. They are hoping to have a larger-than-usual class this fall.

mam, i know youre still on gradcafe (you never listen). look at this one!
