Doctor of Audiology; Yeah, U of I is an R1 institution, so research is a quality they look in their applicants. With that being said, I have zero research experiences but have volunteered at a deaf school for 2 years and has strong research interests, such as neuroplasticity in deaf children and CI, so I think the AuD/PhD combined program at U of I is a good fit for me. My GRE score was strong, LORs were strong (i think...), and statement of purpose was LEGIT....so.....I think they look at the whole picture. Will be attending the open house on March 13. | ||||
