Email from DGS

Form rejection email

Personalized email from DGS. Also described only 10 applicants selected for interviews.

Informal email from person of interest

My research interests didn't fit closely with any of the department, so in hindsight not quite sure why I applied. Regardless, great program, great school, and gratz to those who got accepted.

reached out to the professor I applied to work with last summer, said she was taking students - even went to visit! Rejection email stated:"I just don’t have the space in my lab for an additional student. I thought I would have more room, but my most advanced student did not graduate soon enough"

Informal acceptance, official acceptance soon to come. No word on funding.

"These programs must select the very best from their applicants pools. Unfortunately, you were not among those selected." ~Ouch
