Emailed to ask, and received a form email back. From that email: "Because all of our students are admitted with aid, and because we try to maximize faculty/student contact, we only admit 16-20 graduate students a year out of about 400 applicants."

Saw all the other rejections, decided to check. Sure enough, I joined the ranks. Disappointed by the terse form letter.

Emailed to ask after seeing a very vague update to the website. First good news of the season!

Still in shock. Thrilled.

Checked the website: shocker...I knew I'd regret dropping $75 for this one...

Looks to be going around - I checked the website today based on gradcafe results and my rejection was just posted.

If you were accepted and do not plan to go, please tell them! I will send you homemade cookies.

Notified via website first, then phone call

Received email telling me to check website.

rejections being sent out in waves

Email to check website.

Took me half an hour to set up an account with the website that held my rejection letter.

Email from Elizabeth McCracken and Lisa Olstein. Really hoping to get through! If you're accepted and don't want to go, please give up the seat? :)
