Any news about Computer Engineering Ph.D. admissions? I just got a webinar email and after that, I have not heard anything.

Had an interview with a POI more than a month ago and the said that POI will recommend me for admission. Still no word on funding.

To the poster below, I submitted an application a few months ago and still have not heard anything from them. I was told by someone on here that they tend to be slow on responses....I honestly don't know what the deal is with the department and how they do things.

Fourth rejection of the season. Successfully got rejected from top-4 schools I applied to. 4 papers in National/International conferences. MS from a top 30 US university. 3 years work experience in IC design at a leading semiconductor manufacturer. MS GPA: 3.7. Area: IC-Design and Architecture.

Has anyone heard from them yet? Applied to Henry Samueli School of engineering for Computer Engineering.

This was my backup. Still waiting on decisions from other universities. Background: Computer Science and Engineering from IIT, 6 months equivalent Research Exp., no paper, one patent application.

I received an email as well regarding MEDA fellowship, however, it was a mistake from their side which they confirmed through a second email. However, they left the message "Recipients of the MEDA award will be contacted by their respective departments shortly." Is there anyone who has been contacted by his/her respective department confirming the MEDA award?

I am wondering what the ECE department is doing? Haven't heard anything from the application for 3 months.

I just received acceptance for Master-PhD Fast Track Award (amount equivalent to MEDA). The program decision was sent out last week.

To the poster asking, I'm finishing my undergrad in physics, math and computer science with a plethora of research experience in data science/AI/computer vision, materials science and quantum/applied optics. My research area would be in topological photonics and maybe quantum machine learning. No publications, American.
