Received notification for an interview scheduled for next week. Mailed earlier tiday and was told that final decisions will be communicated on March 16. Fingers crossed.

Standard rejection email, I had not gotten an interview a few weeks ago like some other rhet/comp applicants so was expecting this. Congrats to those accepted!

Generic, but kind, rejection email. 3.85 Masters GPA + GTA for 4 semesters. 2A/0W/1R/1P

Oooof!

Short email informing me. Tough season.

This one hit a little hard :(

"We received many exemplary applications this year and could only accept a handful of candidates. Making decisions in such a highly competitive environment is challenging, to say the least. We are aware that many well-qualified applicants have been denied admission." Haha why does their attempt at a gentle let-down sound so snarky?

:(

Notified informally via e-mail to await formal offer from PAO; portal status also updated to PAO. No news yet on funding.
