Postal letter forthcoming. Funding yet TBD.

got the email as I was walking into work. day ruined.

Personal call from George Saunders. Kind of mean actually. Just laughed for thirty seconds before saying "it's a no." Oh well. next year.

Hey, not bad.

Not really excited about going there even if admitted. Probably the most overrated faculty members in the MFA world. A paltry TA stipend.. A pathetic list of its notable alumni. And most of all it's in a crappy city with terrible weather.

Really nice rejection letter, actually. They were incredibly kind and it made it sting a little bit less. My dream school still hasn't gotten back to me, so here's hoping this is clearing the way for something better!

Very nice, sincere-sounding form rejection addressed to 'MFA applicant'. Rather bummed; in no way surprised.

50% scholarship.

My top choice.. if you don't want to attend, please let them know!

Received a very kind and encouraging email. Waitlisted for funding but apparently I'm in the top dozen and ranked highly on the list.
