Received phone call from POI. Undergrad at regional state school, 4.0 GPA, 4 years research, one REU with famous PI at top 15 school. 4 conferences, one paper in works.

Only one year research experience and no publications. 3.79 GPA and 2 strong LOR.

Got a call from POI. Accepted for organic. Did not take GREs. Went to a top small liberal arts school majoring in chemistry and French. 3.99/4.00 gpa. 2.5 years of chemistry research. 6 presentations. 1 publication. 1 national conference. Very excited! Sending my best of luck to everyone still waiting!

Took a lot of advanced chemistry courses, with some engineering courses. 5+ conferences and a paper in the works! So excited! :)
