Yes i agree with you. Since it is a PhD program, i guess they need to see all the applications before making any decision. I also applied on 16th December. A previous post suggests someone got rejected already who submitted on 16th dec.

I applied 1 day before the deadline. However, I don't believe the way they send round of rejections is related to the day you submit your application.

To the post below, I quite don't understand the fuss about all these interviews as the official call (for any of the PhDs in Bocconi, except for Law) clearly mentions that the admission committee "might" conduct a long-distance interview to understand more about candidate's qualification - but NO POINTS ARE AWARDED for this interview. So, it doesn't really matter even if there is/isn't an interview invite. I understand that the admissions committee would like to talk to you (and perhaps, only) if they want to double-check/confirm something that might be peculiar in documents that you have submitted (in your sop/research interest/other qualification - for eg. if you have sought for English language exemption) - which may or may not affect the acceptance decisions. As far as Social and Political science is concerned, no haven't heard anything from them. But, of course, it's too early to worry abt it, as the call has provided a clear deadline of 16 March for the decision. So let's chill and keep ourselves relaxed. :)

Hi, I've seen a few people post about interviews for the PhD program in other subject areas at Bocconi but was wondering if anyone has received an interview invite or news in general for the Social and Political Science PhD at Bocconi?

IR subfield, e-mail from DGS was interviewed 2 weeks ago

I had assumed as such because the notification was so late.

AP--also want to note that the DGS said it was an unofficial offer and i should be getting an email in a 7-10 days from the graduate school with a formal offer+funding info

I've also heard nothing. My assumption is that we're waitlisted at this point. Don't think I've ever been this anxious for news, NW is by far my #1 choice... 3a/1w?/1p/1r
