Already rejected for the PhD, hoping to hear back on the MA, and I find a big envelope from Oregon in the mail, from the admissions office. Excited, I open it up and it turns out to be something about Graduate Housing options. Dated 2.19.2010 - A full week after I had been rejected. Really great, guys, thanks.

Checked the Web site and there it was.

contacted graduate secretary, a letter of regret was mailed on Friday, Feb 26

I asked the grad coordinator what my status was and he told me that the letters are going out today, and mine was a rejection letter. Awesome.

Turns out it's a good idea to contact individual faculty.

All I have to say is "Go Ducks!"

A kind message from a faculty member: "...it is my pleasure to let you know that you will be receiving an offer from us."

Letter dated 2/19
