2r/0a/0w Received a personalized email from the Dean of BU-COM. It saddened me at first because I saw the preview of the email "Dear Nasia: I am very sorry..." before I opened it fully. Was a bummer initially, but after reading the email I'm encouraged (and ready to take a gap year before re-applying anywhere else lol!) Best of luck to others!

Does anyone know anything about them? I have not been accepted nor rejected. How long should I wait before accepting my other offers?

I haven't heard anything from BU. Does anybody know about the situation? If yes, please answer me.

Email received at 04.54 AM IST. Under grad from JNTU, Hyderabad. TOEFL-111. Application submitted on 12.09.2016.

Late for a waitlist, but here we go.

I called about the Poetry submissions. I was told I'd find out by the end of the week. I'm assuming that's when the Poetry rejections come out.

Called and Catherine said that I would receive something by e-mail by end of week. Sounds like a rejection - not sure - but any closure would be good at this point.

I called the department last Friday and was told that I was not on their waiting list, so I don't think that it's secret.

All of them are excellent. But I prefer UW Milwaukee or University Of Florida if I am interested in theoretical Astrophysics. My research is about GW.

removed from wait list

To the person who posted question re: Boston University fiction program: check out the Fall 2017 MFA forum. Someone posted that they'd called the BU program admin and were told that all 10 offers had been made; the "wait list" is perhaps "secret"?

Has anybody heard from BU Fiction yet?

Feels bad man. 3a/2w/14r/2p

Received a personal email from the advisor informing exactly why I wasn't accepted and that the applicant pool was "extremely competitive" this year. He couldn't get me in. BS to PhD.

My last resort failed. I can't understand why, Boston, what I did wrong? Very unlucky season for me!
