Got an email this morning with a PDF attached. Super excited!! Interviews consisted of two panels (faculty, alum, and students) and a one-on-one student interview and focused on previous research. They asked lots of "Why do we care about ___?" questions with clarifying technical questions thrown in. They also asked a lot of questions about why MEMP over other MIT programs.

Did not have any relevant publications.

Havent heard from MIT regarding my application for the MSCEP program. Also, there has just been one instance of admission to this program on Gradcafe! Not sure what to expect.

Not surprised. Have 2-year work exp in O&G industry and 2-year work exp in consulting company. One relevant publication.
